Case Study #3: Real Estate Investor needs help with his membership site

The Client 

Joe is a successful real estate investor who wants to make an impact by teaching others about his craft online. His company had tremendous growth over the previous three years and could no longer handle all of the technical tasks.

 

The Problem

Joe needed someone to manage his CRM (Contact Relationship Management) system, sales funnels and marketing campaigns. He had membership websites of which he started 6+ years earlier and they were terribly outdated. The plugins were no longer supported, they were not user-friendly and one had been hacked at least twice. 

Even worse, that week, their membership website was suddenly shut down. After doing some digging, Joe discovered that for the past 25 months the membership company had not been charging Joe’s company and then discontinued Joe’s license. After Joe paid up, he still had to get the site back up and running, but first, the hosting company needed the FTP data from the membership website. After hours of back and forth between the hosting company and the membership software company, failed fixes from the website host and valuable work time lost, the site was still down with no solution in sight. 

Joe needed a tech-savvy developer to manage his hosting and servers as opposed to him and his team spending hours on the phone with the hosting company trying to translate tech-speak.

He’s been so busy building his real estate business that he just hadn’t had the time to give the membership site the love and attention that it deserves. He also wanted to increase his membership, but first he must improve the experience of his current members.

The Client

LaKeisha was a recent college graduate who thought she knew what she wanted in life, but then got a little lost. She started as a business client with Natalie Carole Consulting. We helped her with her social media platform. 

 

The Problem

LaKeisha was feeling a little unprepared for life. She recently married her college sweetheart and he just got hired for his high-paying dream job. LaKeisha, however, felt unsettled because she didn't have direction and things didn’t work out for her as planned job-wise. The Work

Coaching can come in handy at any age when you feel like you have hit a snag in life. It is a process that helps you get from where you are to where you want to be. When striving to achieve a goal, there are areas of our lives that we don’t know and can’t see -  and we don’t know that we don’t know and can’t see them. A coach can come in with a bird’s eye view of the situation and give us insight (the vision beyond our own eyes). There are two types of coaches. One is a person who is a few steps ahead of you AND can teach you how to get to where they are and beyond. For example if you’re making six-figures in your online business, find a coach who is making seven. The other type is a person with a track record of being REALLY good at helping people achieve their goals. Not all sports coaches were pro-athletes…they’re just awesome at being coaches; but this type of coach is rare to find.

The Client

Heidi is a business coach who teaches clients how to expand their reach and think bigger.

Heidi needed branded content and worksheets to give to her clients so that the lessons would stick and they could create plans of action.

 

The Work

Branding your content helps to establish your business in the minds of your customers. It creates trust and lets consumers know what to expect from your product or service. When your audience sees your brand, they may not remember your name, but they will remember your logo image and the feeling associated with it. Branding is also great for word-of-mouth referrals which is the most powerful form of advertising.

Case Study #8: Entrepreneur needs product marketing

The Client

Harold was a serial no-nonsense entrepreneur. He owned multiple businesses across different industries and was not afraid of taking calculated risks.

 

The Problem

Harold bought a company that looked like it was going to print money. The company had great success with their product in the past, but shortly after Harold became the owner, it hit a plateau… for 2 years. The company had a good product, a good tech team and a large customer list. Unfortunately, however, Harold couldn’t figure out how to get the product out there and attract new customers. Harold tried and failed with hiring different marketers, but instead of getting things off the ground, he put thousands of dollars in the hole. Harold needed to find new customers, get his product in front of them and show them what it could do for them. 

 

The Work

Product marketing involves identifying your ideal customer, creating an avatar and “speaking” directly to them. Using video to show exactly what Harold’s product can do for them, was more effective with increasing engagement and conversion than static images and text. In addition, Harold had a small budget set aside for advertising so I was able to create a few paid campaigns.

Natalie Carole Consulting was able to do the following for Harold:

  • Produced a video showing the best features of the product and the results that will be experienced by the customer.
  • Split the video into parts for repurposing and to specifically target market segments of the ideal client.
  • Produced 2 episodes of a podcast featuring interviews with happy customers to get Harold started.
  • Designed podcast graphics
  • Ran a Facebook ad campaign to invite leads to a free trial.

  • Worked with Harold’s team to redesign website

As a result of campaign efforts, we saw an uptick in social engagement and the free trial. Harold now has some basic tools needed to continue marketing his product.
